AmeriCorps Construction

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville is looking for a construction volunteer to serve one year as an AmeriCorps volunteer. This volunteer will help families build their homes by leading & training volunteer groups, maintaining Habitat’s tool library, and working on the construction sites. Design VISTA

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville is looking for a design volunteer to serve one year as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. This volunteer will work closely with the Construction Resource Coordinator to develop new house designs, produce construction drawings and color renderings. Knowledge of AutoCad 2004 or newer is required, as well as demonstrable rendering skills in a variety of media. Interior design graduates who serve in this position will have their time credited to take the NCIDQ examination. Office Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville is looking for an office volunteer for the Construction Center. This volunteer will answer phones, file documents and assist the Construction Resource Coordinator in special projects as needed. Volunteers should have basic computer and internet skills.
